Recommended build
Light Cone
Baptism of Pure ThoughtCRIT DMG, debuff scaling and a strong post-Ultimate follow-up window all align with Dr. Ratio's single-target sequence.
When to use it : Attack enemies carrying at least three debuffs, and use the Ultimate before follow-ups to activate Disputation's DMG and DEF-ignore window.
Relics
Debuff-dependent damage and doubled CRIT bonuses reward the exact target state Dr. Ratio already needs for reliable follow-ups.
When to use it : Maintain three debuffs on the attacked target so Pioneer doubles its CRIT bonuses after Dr. Ratio applies a debuff.
Planar Ornaments
Topaz and Aventurine rapidly stack the set, then Dr. Ratio converts its follow-up damage and CRIT DMG into chalk hits.
When to use it : Let allies perform five follow-up attacks to reach Duran's full Merit stacks.
Team lineup
Topaz marks and amplifies follow-ups, Robin buffs their sequence, and Aventurine sustains while adding debuffs and more follow-up stacks.
When to use it : At E0 without signature cones, Topaz's Proof of Debt and Aventurine's Ultimate supply only two persistent debuffs. Add a reliable third debuff through equipment or a debuffer before Ratio's Skill; his own Effect RES reduction is chance-based.

|---|---|---|
| Guide’s reference choice | CRIT DMG, debuff scaling and a strong post-Ultimate follow-up window all align with Dr. Ratio's single-target sequence. | Attack enemies carrying at least three debuffs, and use the Ultimate before follow-ups to activate Disputation's DMG and DEF-ignore window. |
| Accessible option | Permanent CRIT Rate and extra CRIT against targets at 50% HP or less help the Hunt carry; the ATK bonus requires Dr. Ratio himself to defeat an enemy. | No additional condition documented in this guide. This five-star cone is purchased and superimposed through Herta's Store rather than a limited Warp. |
| Accessible option | Dr. Ratio's repeated single-target attacks can retain Swordplay's stacking damage bonus on the debuffed priority target. | No additional condition documented in this guide. Editorial fallback: this non-Battle-Pass four-star Hunt cone is Path-compatible; the reviewed StarGuide and Gachabase pages did not list a four-star option. |
| Alternative | Race to the Horizon supplies ATK and ramping CRIT DMG for Dr. Ratio's follow-up loop. It is a Version 4.5 alternative, without assuming it beats the existing signature or a fully superimposed option. | Build CRIT DMG through repeated wearer Follow-Up ATKs, up to ten stacks lasting two turns; do not assume the maximum bonus at combat start. |

Trace priority
- Talent
- Skill
- Ultimate
Dr. Ratio turns enemy debuffs into a high chance of chalk follow-ups, then marks a target with his Ultimate for two additional allied-triggered attacks.
How to play it
- 1Have allies apply at least three debuffs before Dr. Ratio's turn.
- 2Use Intellectual Midwifery on the priority target to trigger Cogito, Ergo Sum at maximum reliability.
- 3Cast Syllogistic Paradox before the team's attack sequence so Wiseman's Folly turns allied hits into follow-ups.
Sources and methodology
Editorial recommendations are written from released game data, then cross-checked against specialist calculations. They are not copied from a single tier list.
Review method
Character kits, equipment and conditions reviewed against released Version 4.6 data. Added 22008; E0 team now requires a third debuff through gear or a debuffer. Cruising: ATK after personal defeat, extra CRIT at 50% HP or less. Cones 21066, 23055 and 23064 are Elation, while 23063 is Remembrance; their passives are incompatible with this Path. 22008 can stack from Ratio's follow-ups but needs a two-turn ramp; 134 leaves his main follow-up channel without a direct bonus. Set 133 needs single-ally targeting and buffs Elation; its team CRIT bonus needs ten Certified Banger, which this kit does not provide. Three debuffs before Skill are not guaranteed by E0 Topaz and Aventurine alone without signatures. No new damage simulation or refreshed community consensus; effect review uses the exact local 4.6 snapshot, with GitHub web access unavailable. This review includes no new damage simulation; historical community-analysis consultation dates are preserved. Methodological baseline from the previous dossier (review 4.4, reference calculations 3.0): Prydwen and Mobalytics agree that debuff count controls Dr. Ratio's follow-up reliability. The older baseline and later equipment were checked against the immutable released 4.0–4.4 delta and local 4.4 effects; three target debuffs and five allied Duran stacks are explicit assumptions.

Independent fan recommendations based on released data. Follow-up consistency falls sharply when the team cannot maintain three target debuffs.
