Personal data

Privacy Policy

This policy describes the data processed by Genshin Whatpeon, its purposes, retention, and how to exercise your rights.

Data controller

The data controller is Steateav, Station F, 5 Parvis Alan Turing, 75013 Paris, France. Requests can be sent to contact.sk2311@gmail.com.

Leaderboard data

When a score is submitted, the site stores the chosen player name, score, game mode, format, round count, and submission date.

The purpose is to operate and preserve a community ranking for each game mode and format. This processing relies on the publisher’s legitimate interest in providing that service to players.

The player name is public. Do not enter sensitive information, an email address, a full name, or content that identifies another person.

Leaderboard retention

Entries are kept for the lifetime of the leaderboard to preserve its history, unless they are removed earlier at the data subject’s request or for moderation. The need to retain older entries is subject to periodic review.

Local storage

The browser may store a local preference for game sounds. It remains on the device and is used only to preserve the setting between visits.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare processes the technical data required to route requests, protect the site, and provide Pages, Pages Functions, and D1. Leaderboard entries are stored in D1; logs and technical data may include the IP address, device, browser, time, and requested resource.

More information is available in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Advertising and Google CMP

In production, the site loads Google AdSense. Google and the providers listed in the Google CMP may use cookies, tags, or identifiers to deliver, measure, and, depending on your choice, personalize advertisements.

For visitors covered by European rules, the Google CMP collects and transmits choices before advertising processing subject to consent. Ad personalization settings remain available at adssettings.google.com.

Google explains its use of data in Google's information about partner sites.

Recipients and international transfers

Player names and scores are available to leaderboard visitors. Other recipients are the publisher and, depending on the processing, Cloudflare, Google, and the advertising providers disclosed in the CMP. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their own policies.

Your rights

Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of your data, or object to the processing. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting operations already carried out.

Send requests to contact.sk2311@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Optional submission

You can play without publishing a score. The player name, score, and game information become necessary only if you choose to submit an entry to the leaderboard.
