Recommended build

Light Cone

Inherently Unjust Destiny
Best choice

High base DEF, DEF%, CRIT DMG and a follow-up vulnerability combine stronger shields with the largest team damage contribution.

When to use it : Keep Fortified Wager active before the follow-up lands so the CRIT DMG buff and enemy vulnerability are both available.

Relics

Best choice

Knight's two-piece DEF and Messenger's two-piece SPD improve shields and action frequency without claiming a four-piece effect.

Planar Ornaments

Best choice

The free activation turns his defensive kit into a permanent team CRIT DMG buff.

When to use it : Aventurine's shield already grants enough Effect RES to cross Broken Keel's 30% activation threshold.

Team lineup

Best choice

Feixiao and Topaz supply those Follow-Up ATKs; Robin amplifies and advances the chain, but her attacks and additional damage do not count as Follow-Up ATKs. Aventurine's refreshed shields keep the team self-sustaining.

When to use it : Keep all allies shielded before the chain; Bingo! counts only allied Follow-Up ATKs and caps at 3 triggers per Aventurine turn.

Trace priority

  1. Skill
  2. Talent
  3. Ultimate
  4. Basic ATK

Aventurine stacks team shields from his Skill and follow-up, converts DEF into CRIT Rate and rewards frequent shielded allied follow-ups.

How to play it

  1. 1Open with Cornerstone Deluxe if Fortified Wager is absent before enemy actions.
  2. 2Basic attack while shields are healthy to generate Skill Points; refresh only before dangerous damage or expiration.
  3. 3Use Roulette Shark before the team's burst so Unnerved increases CRIT DMG on the priority target.

Sources and methodology

Editorial recommendations are written from released game data, then cross-checked against specialist calculations. They are not copied from a single tier list.

Review method

Character kits, equipment and conditions reviewed against released Version 4.6 data. Retained 4000 DEF, Fortified Wager and Keel through shield RES; Bingo counts follow-ups, not Robin's additional damage. Cones 21066, 23055 and 23064 are Elation, while 23063 is Remembrance; their passives are incompatible with this Path. 22008 is Hunt and incompatible with Preservation; 134 buffs secondary Basics, not shields or Bingo. Set 133 needs single-ally targeting and buffs Elation; its team CRIT bonus needs ten Certified Banger, which this kit does not provide. Keel's RES is free only under shield; Bingo caps at three allied triggers per turn. No new damage simulation or refreshed community consensus; effect review uses the exact local 4.6 snapshot, with GitHub web access unavailable. This review includes no new damage simulation; historical community-analysis consultation dates are preserved. Methodological baseline from the previous dossier (review 4.4, reference calculations 4.0): Prydwen and Icy Veins independently converge on 4000 DEF, 134 SPD and follow-up teams. Leverage's exact in-combat conversion is min(floor((DEF - 1600) / 100) × 2%, 48%), so 4000 DEF supplies the full 48% CRIT Rate before sheet CRIT. Bingo! grants one Blind Bet only when a shielded ally launches a Follow-Up ATK, up to 3 triggers before the count resets at the start of Aventurine's turn. Feixiao and Topaz provide those triggers; Robin amplifies and advances their chain, but neither her attacks nor her additional damage is a Follow-Up ATK. The 4.0 baseline was reconciled with the immutable 4.0–4.4 compare and local 4.4 kit.

Independent fan recommendations based on released data. The offensive targets assume 4000 DEF is already secured; lower DEF weakens both shields and the free CRIT Rate conversion.
